The evaluation of the Prostitutes Protection Act is due to be published soon. However, as a member of the Sex Worker Action Group (SWAG), you are already convinced that the law needs to be replaced. What is your criticism of it?

When the law was introduced in 2017, the stated aim was to increase the safety of sex workers and reduce exploitation. The exact opposite has occurred: both safety and access to labor rights have worsened.

This is primarily due to the mandatory registration. The so-called "whore's pass" is fraught with obstacles, especially for those most dependent on their work: people already experiencing discrimination and, for example, those in the process of obtaining a residence permit or health insurance.
